Woody (4/15/88 - 7/14/98)

Poor Woody.  He died on July 14, 1998, eight months after being diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease. He was only 10 years old.  (Woody was named after the character Woody Boyd on Cheers.)  We got Holly a few days later -- a 1-year old gorgeous chocolate cream point female.  Jessie came to live with us during Woody's illness, to keep him company.

 

This is Lucy

Lucy came to live with us in April 1997 as Woody's playmate.  She was a red Persian, around 7 years old..  She got very sick soon afterwards and died of cancer in July 1997.  Lucy was named after Lucille Ball because of her red hair and petite size.

 

This is Buddy
buddy1a.gif (28879 bytes) Buddy died of kidney disease on 4/20/95 - five months after first being diagnosed. She was only 9 years old. This was taken when she came home from her first (of 3) hospitalization, after she dropped from 12 to 6 pounds.

Buddy was named after Buddy Holly.
